“Brett’s positive approach with young athletes, comprehensive physical and mental training programs, and expert instruction all contributed to our team’s success as Colorado Little League District and State champions. Of particular importance was Brett's two-week program on the mental aspects of the game, a first for many of the players. The players learned techniques on how to overcome mental challenges, which proved to be very important after a devastating loss in the first game of the double-elimination state championship tournament. Using much of the materials Brett taught, the team returned the following day with a new attitude and determination, won the State Championship and earned a coveted spot at the Regional tournament in Waco, TX. I highly recommend Brett as a coach, mentor and trainer!”

"I have seen tremendous changes in my son. I just got out of parent/teacher conferences, and all the teachers share excitement and praise for the recent changes they have noticed in him. They are taking note of his focus, his willingness to try things that have been hard for him, his maturing behavior, including commenting on the fact that he stood in front of the class to give a pretty good speech about consequences and behavior choices to a pretty rowdy class, which left the teacher speechless. I can only attribute all this to the mental training sessions with you. He talks about them with us at home, which gives us a chance to delve deeper into other topics. Honestly, regardless of the fact about the training translating to his skiing, I am most happy it is working for him at school. Thank you so much!"

Brett is a truly outstanding baseball coach, but what sets him apart is his ability to work so effectively with kids on the mental and emotional aspects of their game. His advanced studies in sports psychology and his unique understanding of kids with various challenges make him extremely gifted in this area. Our son, who has ADHD, has made tremendous strides thanks to Brett’s coaching skills, and his new-found confidence goes beyond baseball. Brett is a positive, great guy that any parent would love to have as an influence in their kids’ lives.

I arrived home after the your clinic overly saturated with ideas on how to run more dynamic practices and a tighter understanding of my coaching philosophy. A fantastic experience and kickstart to the season with our first game this Saturday.
From the get go of your presentation, it was clearly apparent to me that you were absorbed in your message and in addition to presenting, you were also a student. Your ability to run the show while engaging everyone in the room was superb. It reminds me of a quote from Norman Maclean, “all good things….come by grace and grace comes from art and art does not come easy.” Your presentation was definitely full of grace, I’d like to hope that at least one of my players would describe my coaching style as artful.
In close, your time and energies giving back to the game and community are greatly appreciated, perhaps a theme underlying the coaching philosophies of all the men present this evening. Thank you for reaffirming to me that our efforts do make a difference.

"We just wanted to thank you for such a wonderful 3 days of baseball last week at Iris. My son had been a little down about his recent hitting & w/ all the different coaches he hears different things. Your approach and style of teaching really hit home w/ him. The way you broke things down but not so much info, was just what he needed. He learned so much about fielding, running the bases, and pitching too. We have noticed his spark for the game back to the level it has been in past years. Thank you!"

"Thank you! I feel very blessed that our paths have crossed! You are such a positive influence on them (as well as many others). I hope our boys are as hard working and driven as you are!"

"Mom...Brett and Ari get kids to do things they wouldn't think they would want to do AND they make it so much fun! I wonder how they do that?"
